F&C Asset Management have today announced that Catherine Stanley has been appointed as Head of UK Smaller Companies. She succeeds Sandy Fleming, who is retiring from F&C at the end of July after nearly 12 years with the company.

The F&C UK Small Companies team comprises four fund managers operating from offices in London and Edinburgh managing institutional portfolios, a retail OEIC and two investment trust mandates (ISIS Smaller Companies Plc and F&C Smaller Companies Plc). The team work alongside other F&C regional small cap specialists on the global F&C Smaller Companies trust which today announced that Peter Ewins will succeed Fleming as lead manager following the trust’s Annual General Meeting.
