F&C has been a pioneer in ethical investment, managing the UK’s first socially and environmentally screened fund, Stewardship, launched in 1984. Stewardship is now the UK’s largest ethical fund. As well as avoiding companies that do not meet certain criteria, F&C’s ethical funds also actively seek out companies that are providing sustainable solutions through innovative products and services. Furthermore, F&C has taken steps to ensure that its own operations are sustainable. This includes a commitment to make our operations fully carbon-neutral.
