Karina Litvack is Head of Governance & Sustainable Investment (GSI), having joined F&C in 1998. Prior to joining F&C, Karina directed SRI research for the ÖkoVision fund. She began her career in 1984 as a foreign exchange analyst and then worked in corporate finance and primary placement of securities for PaineWebber Incorporated. Prior to that she managed the redevelopment of derelict inner-city properties for the City of New York's property development arm. At F&C, she directs a 12-strong team that handles the share voting and shareholder dialogue activities on all global portfolios. Karina holds a MBA in International Finance from Columbia University Graduate School of Business, a Bachelors Degree in Political Economy from the University of Toronto, and a Diploma in Italian Translation and Interpretation. Karina is fluent in French, Italian, Spanish and German.
