The Board of Pacific Assets Trust plc (“Pacific Assets”) announced that the investment managers of the Company will change from F&C to First State Investments with effect from 1 July 2010. As a result, shares in Pacific Assets are no longer available as an investment option within the F&C Investment Trust Savings Schemes. Applications solely for shares in Pacific Assets will be returned to the applicant. Other applications will be processed normally; however the applicants will be requested to provide alternative instructions in place of the Pacific Assets element.

The Trust has a growth bias, and is prepared to be opportunistic in its search of suitable investment opportunities in the Asia Pacific region and the Indian sub-continent, excluding Japan and Australasia.
